Jeanne Achille, President & CEO
Jeanne Achille founded The Devon Group in 1994. She is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the widely respected, privately held public relations and marketing agency, remaining deeply involved with clients, press and analysts. She has more than 25 years of sales, marketing and PR experience, including the development of corporate branding campaigns, successful company and product launches, executive media training, media and analyst relations, and speaker bureau programs. Considered by many to be “one of the best public relations professionals in the business,” Achille is also a skilled crisis communicator who has designed and delivered communications programs that proactively address the most challenging of circumstances. Her global career spans the development and implementation of communications campaigns for business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies ranging from venture capital funded start-ups to global Fortune 50 corporations. She leverages her long-standing media and analyst relationships on behalf of Devon’s clients, helping to generate media coverage in such outlets as Associated Press, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Boston Globe, CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune and many trade and vertical publications, including Computerworld, InfoWorld, Information Week, CRM, Human Resource Executive, SD Times, STORES, Chain Store Age, Pharmaceutical Executive, Modern Healthcare and many others. Before starting The Devon Group more than 15 years ago, Achille directed marketing at a publicly held Boston-based networking vendor while also raising her then young family. Earlier in her career, she held senior sales, marketing and global product management positions at Ceridian (formerly Control Data), Information Science Corporation (InSci) and a division of Allied-Signal Corporation. Her education includes undergraduate and graduate degrees with honors from Long Island University's C.W. Post Center and MBA studies from Adelphi University. Her award-winning articles have been published in Fortune, workspan, VARBusiness, MarketingROI, Workforce Management Magazine, The Industry Standard and Central New Jersey's weekly newspaper, The Two River Times. Achille has served as the elected communications expert on New Jersey's 7-person Supreme Court Committee on Attorney Advertising. Active in a number of local and national business organizations, she is a frequent moderator and presenter on public speaking, entrepreneurial and PR/marketing topics. |
